Stabilization of rank-deficient continuous-time switched affine systems

This paper treats the global stabilization problem of continuous-time switched affine systems that have rank-deficient convex combinations their dynamic matrices. For these systems, already known set attainable equilibrium points has higher dimensionality than in full-rank case due to existence what we define as singular points. Our main goal is design a state-dependent switching function ensure asymptotic stability chosen point inside this with conditions expressed terms linear matrix inequalities. class exponential generally impossible be guaranteed. Hence, proposed shown and local desired point. The position control velocity integral action dc motor driven by h-bridge fed via boost converter are used for validation. practical application example composed eight subsystems, all possible matrices singular.
